Books Islamia are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only store, use and disclose the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and contact you in case of queries and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent. If you change your mind after having signed up to receive emails/mailings then please select the relevant option within Your Mailings once you have logged in to your account.
The only information we will collect about you is: your name, address, telephone number and email address.
We don't hold your credit/debit card information on our web-server and any personal information we do hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy, the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. Also, provided that you inform us of any changes, the information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you inform us of any inaccuracies we will delete or correct them promptly. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. If we transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We are registered under the Data Protection Act and all data is held and used in accordance with the act.
Books Islamia will occasionally make names and addresses (but never email addresses or phone numbers) available to companies that we think may be of interest to you, unless you have told us otherwise. If you do not wish to be contacted by these companies, please contact us. Please include your customer number, name and address in your correspondence.

Use of cookies
